Sino-Talent Finland promotes employment for Chinese-speaking talents

Sino-Talent Finland ry launched the website and LinkedIn-based talent pool in the end of September 2016. Sino-Talent Finland’s aim is to create a social working community platform to enhance career opportunities for Chinese-speaking talents in Finland. With the help of the talent pool Finnish businesses can discover new opportunities on growing and expanding their businesses to China.

How to utilize Chinese professionals living in Finland?

Part of the At work in Finland project in City of Espoo kicked off their operations with Sino-Talent Talks 2016 seminar in 26 October 2016. As speakers in the seminar were Manager of the Immigration Affairs Mr Teemu Haapalehto and Head of International Affairs Ms Fanglan Tao from the City of Espoo.

Important topic was how to utilize Chinese professionals in Finnish businesses expanding their businesses in the Chinese markets. Chinese talents were also encouraged to establish a startup.

Both parties benefit from Chinese talents working in Finnish companies. The world gets more and more international all the time. That is why it’s important that the Finnish businesses see the value in Chinese-speaking employees who are highly educated in certain industrial fields with networking and understanding of both Finnish and Chinese business culture.
