The biggest trees in the forest play a pivotal part in the ecosystem, they provide the shade for smaller trees and plants to grow. The Roots are able to locate, produce and deliver resources to help enable growth of any sized tree or company. They know when and where to be and can attach themselves to trees and plants who need help and support.

Building a solid base requires having strong roots - then you can branch out

In 2017 and beyond, the City of Espoo will invest (xxxxbillions) into infrastructure that will usher in the smart city era. With each new structure, shopping center, public transport investment or building or co working concept, there is a limited time to implant and integrate new pilot projects and testing platforms - the time is ripe now.

Historically, this garden has always been able to produce an abundance of research and innovation - now is the time to create your testbed for success with the people who have been working these lands and understand the conditions that the elements can throw at you in this (economic) climate.

The yields have been nice to date:

  • 80 startups per year
  • 900 companies based within the campus
