Cafe Silva

Situated in the Hawk Nest recreational center, on the shore of Hawk Lake, a tranquil little forest lake, this cafeteria, Cafe Silva, run by Natura Viva outdoor equipment and excursion provider, offers hot coffee and tea, cold beverages, small snacks and sweet pastrys, ice cream and sweet treats. Nothing beats a cup of delicious coffee in the forest, on the lakeside. 

You can also buy pre-packed foodstuffs, such as sausages and canned food, with You on a forest hike or outdoor excursion. Nuuksio national park has numerous campfire sites, where You can cook on open fire and enjoy a nice meal outside.

Alongside Cafe Silva the Hawk Nest recreational center offers outdoor equipment, such as open canoes, sup boards, Fatbikes and rowing boats for rent. During the winter season there’a a self-service snowshoe rental, whenever the snow conditions are suitable for snowshoeing.
